The family wishes to thank Barbara Holzworth, Frank’s niece, for designing and creating the memorial service program on such short notice. It is truly a work of love.

My wife and I were watching a dog show on television, and one of the dogs was a large, white Samoyed. I immediately thought of Frank and Hazel’s dog, Sonya, from many years ago in Cambridge, OH. I searched the Internet for Frank and was greatly saddened when I learned of his passing.
As a young teen, I was lucky enough to be involved in the first several years of the Living Word. I remember many things of those summers-living over the garage amongst a myriad of books, cartons full of a Bede airplane kit, and Frank’s weights made from coffee cans and cement. I remember Frank’s penchant for red, belted coveralls and his loud booming voice. I remember his excitement as the work was done on the hill and the amphitheater slowly came together. What I remember most, however, was Frank’s deep commitment to Christ and a powerful love for his family. To Hazel, Grace, David, and Esther, please know that my thoughts are with you, and that I can understand some of the grief you are feeling. I lost my father last fall to ALS. So, now two of the most influential men in my life are gone. May God bless you and surround you with His infinite love during this difficult time.
Affectionately, Jay

Frank was a friend for nearly 40 years. He and Hazel have been true friends to our family. His was a life of service to the Master. For 4+ decades he translated the Bible into life. Through his life and the life of those Biblical Characters the Bible became very real and meaningful to many. Frank was devoted to Jesus, faithful to Hazel, loved his family, and was proud of his children and grandchildren. He was a dreamer and faithful to his dreams. He stayed focused and became those Biblical Characters. As a pilot he was instrument rated by the FAA. As a sky pilot he was certified by Jesus. He was a researcher, scholar, student, teacher, author, preacher and actor. As an Internationally acclaimed portrayer of Biblical Characters he travelled World Wide sharing God’s message through his life. Untold thousands have been touched by his life and ministry with many having life changing experiences.
Hazel, David, Grace, Esther and the grandchildren have lost a dear family member and the rest of us have lost a dear friend and Heaven has gained a new resident.
May God bless the memory of Frank.
His ol buddy, Blaine

I found this page while searching for ideas for the program that I am creating for my grandfather’s memorial service. This wonderful program brought tears to my eyes. It is very, very well done… a perfect tribute to someone who was obviously a very special person.
