The family wishes to thank Barbara Holzworth, Frank’s niece, for designing and creating the memorial service program on such short notice. It is truly a work of love.

On Saturday, January 7, 2006, many friends and family of Frank Roughton Harvey gathered at the Sandersville United Methodist Church to celebrate his life and to mourn his departure from this world. We realize that those in attendance were simply a representation of the thousands of people around the world whose lives were changed because of Frank's drama ministry and wanted to be there but could not make the trip.

We thank you for the many words of encouragement that you have poured on us ever since Frank was given the prognosis of just a few months to live. We are grateful for those last precious moments with him.

With deep appreciation and gratitude,

The Frank Roughton Harvey Family

Earlier today Hazel and Esther left Lexington, KY, to drive down to Georgia. They have stopped over at David Roughton Harvey’s home just south of Atlanta and will continue their journey to Sandersville, tomorrow.

Grace and I, along with our two children, will leave Friday morning to drive from Lexington to Sandersville.

Please pray for God’s protection on Frank’s family and the many friends who will be traveling to Sandersville for the memorial service.

Thank you,

Paul Dupree
Frank and Hazel’s Son-In-Law

After the memorial service, the church’s hospitality committee have arranged for a light luncheon in the fellowship hall where there will be an opportunity to visit with Frank’s family.

Dear Friends and Family,
.
On this first day of the new year our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of Frank Roughton Harvey. Early this morning he experienced difficulty breathing at our home in Lexington, KY. After being taken to the hospital he passed away at around 8:20 am. We know that he is now free of the pain and suffering that he had experienced in his earthly body most of his life. We rejoice in the knowledge that he is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
.
To both mourn Frank’s passing and celebrate his life we are arranging a memorial service on Saturday, January 7th at 11:00 am at the Sandersville First United Methodist Church in Sandersville, GA. At Frank’s request his body is being cremated and some of his ashes will be strewn at the gravesite of his mom and dad in Sandersville.
.
Also, at Frank’s request, at a memorial service next summer, most of his ashes will be strewn at the foot of the cross at the Living Word Outdoor Theater in Cambridge, OH which we founded together. He tried to live his life at the foot of the cross and wanted his remains to be left there.
 .
If you desire to send flowers, the family asks instead you consider a contribution to the Living Word memorial chapel fund in Frank’s name at 6010 College Hill Road,  PO Box 1481,  Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
.
Words can’t adequately express how much we appreciate your love and support over the years. Thank you for your continued prayers during these difficult days.

Frank’s loving wife,

Hazel Roughton Harvey
